We’re getting THAT much closer to The Oscars, and this year’s award show red carpets the best we’ve seen in a long time.
On our list of favorites looks, you’ll notice a few stars we’ve loved each award show (hello, Lady Gaga!), and some more who really nailed it at the SAGS.
Do you agree with our list below?
Emily Blunt in Michael Kors
Emily Blunt just never disappoints, when she’s acting and when she’s getting dressed.
This lovely pink gown fits her body so beautifully, with some dramatic sleeves directing attention to her face. She looks so elegant and so classy – but what’s new?
Lady Gaga in Dior Haute Couture
Lady Gaga could seriously wear anything, and her attitude just makes it look fabulous.
This Dior gown rocks Gaga’s body without being too clingy, with a lace-adorned plunge neckline and a ruched waist. The super high slit is iconic and super sexy.
Catherine Zeta-Jones in Zuhair Murad
Navy blue sequins needs to be a thing more often.
Catherine Looks absolutely stunning in the flattering color, and this dress clings to her shape so well. The low neck and the defined waist glow into a high slit skirt, with some very lovely lace applique sheer sleeves. The dress is just beautiful in every way, just like Catherine.
Ellen Wong in Unknown
Ombre sequins – yes please!
Ellen looks radiant in a form-fitting, long sleeved, ombre gown featuring black and silver sequins. Her figure is on full display without showing one bit of skin – how seductive! Ellen looks like a rockstar.
Margot Robbie in Chanel
Margot’s choice for a gown is so beachy and simple, yet stunning, especially on her.
The glittering gold details add some glam to this gown that just glides along her body like a dream. It’s elegant with a little bit of sexiness.
Yara Shahidi in Fendi
At first we couldn’t tell if this was a jumpsuit or dress, we just knew it was beautiful – but it’s both!
The shining pink form-fitting jumpsuit is modern and sexy with an ankle cut. The overlay features embroidery and a cute faux collar detail. It’s a gorgeous combination on a gorgeous lady!
Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton
Emma brought pants to the red carpet a couple of years ago, and continues to prove that they belong on the red carpet.
Her jumpsuit is the perfect mix of glam and business, with a one-shoulder gold top featuring a gorgeous bow at the beck. The high waisted pants are so classic, creating the perfect juxtaposition.
Samira Wiley in Georges Chakra
This grecian goddess inspired dress just showcases how insanely beautiful Samira is by subtly highlighting it.
The directional fabric detail spruces this classic silhouette up, as does the sequin detailing around the top. There’s also another high leg slit for some seduction.
